HAWTHORNE – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man shot to death at a Hawthorne sports bar on October 12. The shooting was reported at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 13700 block of South Inglewood Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which sent homicide detectives to the scene to assist the Hawthorne Police Department in its investigation. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. UCLA campus police were alerted to the 500 block of Westwood Plaza to reports of a man found hanging in the structure. He was initially reported missing on October 4.
