INGLEWOOD – The Inglewood Permits & Licenses will discuss changes to routes for pedicab operators on October 23. The public is invited to attended the meeting. Location: Inglewood City Hall in Community Room ATime: 2:00 P.M. Inglewood pedicab operators currently drive along regular city streets as they use vehicles that have license plates affixed to the rear of them. There are currently no regulations requiring neither operators nor passengers to wear helmets as a safety precaution given the uptick in car accidents within the Inglewood Sports and Entertainment District. COMPTON – A man was shot to death inside a Compton beauty supply store Sunday afternoon. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies with the Compton Station responded to reports of shots fired in the 1300 block of E. Three tickets were sold matching five numbers and are worth $1 million each, according to lottery officials. The tickets were sold in Missouri, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
