Who runs the world? Mamie Coleman and Towalame Austin do, literally!

Not only running the behind the scenes of major entertainment conglomerates, the beautiful and dynamic duo have recently completed their 7th World Marathon Major in Sydney, Australia, putting them in an elite club of very few to earn this prestigious title.

Mamie is a senior TV and film music executive at FOX, who started running at the age of 12, and never thought it would take her on a journey of healing and giving back in ways that have been much bigger than herself. After her mom and sister were both diagnosed back-to-back with breast cancer, Mamie began using running as the driving force behind her mission to use movement as a platform for healing, awareness and impact.

We run not just for the finish line, but for healing, for discovery, and for every woman who’s ever been told she couldn’t.

Mamie Coleman

Mamie has raised over $500,000 to support causes close to home—especially after her sister and mother were both diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and 2022. She is also an active member of several athletic communities, including the Fox Triathlon Team, Movement Runners, Keep It Run Hundred, and 261 Fearless—the global women’s running network founded by Kathrine Switzer

After battling a case of depression, Towalame, the EVP of Global and Social Impact at Sony Music Group, began using running as her therapy. Curiosity initially led her to the sport through a Nike focus group, but that curiosity quickly became something far deeper for Towalame. It offered her a space where she could be both vulnerable and powerful. Her discipline and commitment to running is rooted in her passion for community.

With every mile, we reclaim joy, explore the world, and remind ourselves that strength is found in movement and that sisterhood is the wind at our backs.

Towalame Austin

Towalame has completed the world’s most iconic races: Los Angeles, New York, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and Tokyo. She has also raised over $30,000 for charitable causes globally. Her races have supported efforts in breast cancer awareness, lupus support, and cancer research, reflecting her deep commitment to social impact through motion.

She has also found her running rhythm with groups like Movement Runners, Keep It Run
Hundred, Girl Gang Crazy, The Breakfast Run Club, Nike Run Club, and Tracksmith events.

From Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, London, Berlin and Tokyo to now Sydney, Mamie and Towalame have proven that women can truly do it all. As running partners, colleagues and friends, they are helping to change the world one mile at a time.
