INGLEWOOD – A man has been sentenced to 125 years in prison for shooting an off-duty Inglewood police officer in March 2022. Marquis Wilkerson, 27, was sentenced to 117 years and 8 months to life in prison plus an additional 8 years in prison by a Superior Court Judge. Wilkerson faced multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and spousal assault, at the time of his arrest. INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Authorities have announced an arrest in the vandalism of several vehicles in the Ladera Heights area that were painted with swastikas. Robert Haymore, 37, was arrested in Inglewood on Tuesday after their investigation determined that he was a suspect in the repeat vandalism, that happened on multiple occasions last week.  The Anti-Defamation League has not made any public comments on the matter.
