First Game in the Series from New Regency’s Acclaimed Film Library Launching Today

New Regency and Death Row Games, through its Good Game Champ division, today announced an innovative collaboration to bring iconic films from the New Regency archive into the Fortnite universe via Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). This partnership, the first of its kind between Death Row Games and a content studio, underscores New Regency’s dedication to creating fresh ways for audiences to experience storytelling while aligning with Death Row Games’ forward-thinking business ethos.

Through this partnership, Good Champ will introduce In Time â€” the first in a series of games inspired by New Regency’s films—to the immersive world of UEFN. Launching today, In Time is a natural fit for the dynamic UEFN platform, delivering fans an unparalleled ‘AAA gaming experience.’

Cordell Broadus, CEO of Death Row Games, shared his excitement for the project: “New Regency has produced some of my favorite films, so working with Yariv [Milchan] and his team has been seamless. They understand that UEFN is at the heart of the creator economy. When we built the Tee Grizzley map, we wanted to depict spaces that resonate emotionally with our culture. This partnership allows us to bring that same authenticity to the Fortnite world and ensure cultural representation within IP integration.”

In Time is a high-stakes, action-packed film from 2011, directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy, and Olivia Wilde. Set in a dystopian society where time serves as currency, the film delves into a world of stark inequalities, where survival hinges on every second. Its gripping narrative and themes of resistance provide a wealth of rich storytelling potential.

Yariv Milchan, Chairman and CEO of New Regency, shared: “We’re thrilled to be part of this exciting new era of innovation in gaming and storytelling alongside DeathRow Games. The launch of In Time marks the start of a groundbreaking journey into immersive storytelling. We have long admired Snoop’s remarkable and varied body of work, his ongoing creative journey, and have deep respect for what he and Cordell are building at Death Row.  This timely and exciting collaboration resonates with our ethos at New Regency.”

New Regency currently has Steve McQueen’s critically acclaimed Blitz streaming on Apple TV+, is in pre-production for season 2 of the Emmy Award-winning series Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Donald Glover, has Prime Target with Leo Woodall slated for release on Apple TV+ in 2025, and is actively filming Man on Fire for Netflix.
