Woman found dead on sidewalk in Leimert Park

LEIMERT PARK – A woman was found dead on a sidewalk in Leimert Park early Sunday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were alerted to the woman’s body by a resident who was walking their dog, according to posts on the NextDoor app.

The woman’s body was located at Coliseum and Grayburn and the details surrounding her death are unknown at this time.

Her identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

The LAPD’s Southwest station urged anyone with information regarding the death to call them at 213-485-2583 or 877-527-3247. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or lacrimestoppers.org.
