INGLEWOOD – The Inglewood City Council will push back TWO scheduled Public Hearings to change the density and zoning of the former school sites of Monroe Middle School, Morningside High School and Woodworth Elementary School from September 30 to October 7 at 2:00 p.m.

Set a public hearing for September 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., to consider General Plan Amendment No. 24-00002 (GPA24-00002), allowing a request to amend the Land Use Element Map of the Inglewood General Plan from Low Density to Medium Density for an approximately 68-acre site that includes Morningside High School and Monroe Middle School, with approximately 23-acres designated for a proposed multiple-family residential development at AINs: 4030-033-901, 4030- 033-903, and 4030-033-904.
Megan Divine, representing HAS INWD Property Owner, LLC (Applicant), filed General Plan Amendment No. 24-00002 on October 28, 2024, to amend the Land Use Element Map from Low Density to Medium Density for the project site (approximately 23-acres).1
