Dear Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) Staff, Students, Families, and Community Members,

We would like to invite you to join our in-person Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) meeting on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the IUSD Board Room.

The purpose of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee is to inform the public concerning the expenditure of bond revenues. The committee actively reviews and reports on the proper expenditure of taxpayers’ money for projects related to school facilities. The CBOC meets regularly, typically on a quarterly basis, to review the progress of facilities projects funded by General Obligation bond proceeds, as well as monitor the expenditures, encumbrances, and budgets of these facilities projects.

We encourage our staff, students, families, and community members to attend our upcoming CBOC meeting. It is an opportunity to listen, stay informed about the process, and provide public comments. Your feedback ensures that the CBOC decisions represent the community’s needs while also ensuring that Measure GG and Measure I funds are used for projects related to school facilities.

If you are unable to attend in-person, you have the option to stay connected via livestream on our YouTube channel or watch recordings of previous meetings. In addition, you have access to previous and current CBOC bylaws, agendas, and presentations. To access our CBOC’s webpage, click here.

The District is looking forward to working alongside the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee in helping inform the public concerning the expenditure of the bond revenues.

Together #WeAreInglewoodUnified

Sincerely,

James Morris, Ed.D.
County Administrator
