Is the Inglewood Assemblywoman making a play for a Congresswoman’s seat

Inglewood Assemblymember Tina McKinnor endorsed Adam Schiff for Senate?

Adam Schiff?

Is this what our newly elected freshman Assemblywoman is up to? Trading her endorsement of Adam Schiff to potentially replace long-time United States Senator Dianne Feinstein to give him credibility in the African American community?

Although Congressman Schiff has served honorably I suppose as a member of Congress, if you want to ignore the fact he horribly mishandled the impeachment of former President Donald Trump then I guess he fits the “criteria” as the ideal candidate to replace the highly respected Feinstein.

For full disclosure, I’ve never been a fan of Assemblywoman McKinnor because offering her endorsement of Schiff not only looks self-serving but clearly shows she’s out of touch with her constituency’s wants and needs as many residents in her district are struggling with crippling financial hardship, homelessness, housing instability, a dysfunctional educational system and the impending disaster in her backyard known as the Inglewood Transit Connector.

I”m sorry but if this is the Tina Mckinnor we elected, can we ask for a do-over because outside looking in, it appears that the Assemblywoman is operating like Tina Mckinnor whom we all know and love as the political strategist she truly is. This is not what her constituents expected and elected her to be and if padding her resume in co-authoring weak legislation that has no real teeth or passing out endorsements like Nino Brown gave away turkeys on New Jack City then we as her constituents should be working overtime to make her a one-term Assemblywoman because although it appears she’s working hard, it’s obvious for those with eyes and ears that Assemblywoman Mckinnor sold her political “soul” with visions of grandeur in pursuit of a higher calling or in McKinnors case, a higher office.

Sen. Steve Bradford terms out next year and if she is really cutthroat she will pull an “Adam Schiff” and run against Rep. Maxine Waters.

Sen. Steve Bradford terms out next year and if she is really cutthroat she will pull an “Adam Schiff” and run against Rep. Maxine Waters?

In closing, I suggest “Aunty Maxine” watch her back because it appears like Assemblywoman McKinnor is coming for her seat and she is recruiting people in high places in her self-serving conquest.
