INGLEWOOD, Calif. (SBE) – The California Transportation Commission is expected to earmark $60 million for transit related projects, including the Inglewood Transit Connector during scheduled meetings later this month. According to Urbanize LA, a website that monitors developments around the country, CTC staff are recommending the funding for multiple projects in Los Angeles County. The three projects are: I-405 Corridor Community Bus Service Improvement Program which receive roughly $32 million. WASHINGTON (AP) – The Supreme Court on Thursday issued a surprising ruling in favor of Black voters in a congressional redistricting case, ordering the creation of a second district with a large Black population.
