NORTH HOLLYWOOD – A body was discovered inside a burned tunnel under the 170 Freeway in North Hollywood late Monday night.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a tunnel under the freeway near Huston Street and Tujunga Ave. around 10:20 p.m.
After extinguishing the fire, a body was discovered and the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
