Compton College, City of Compton, and Compton Unified School District Are Hiring!

Compton College, in partnership with the City of Compton and the Compton Unified School District (CCCD) will host a Job Fair on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Art Gallery inside the Library-Student Success Center, located on campus at 1111 E. Artesia Boulevard, Compton, CA 90221. This event is free and open to the public.

The Job Fair will provide individuals with a chance to explore employment opportunities and learn
more about Compton College. The in-person event will offer free workshops on job search related topics, as well as free professional headshots. Compton College President Keith Curry will host a presentation at 12 p.m. titled “Real Talk – Roles and Responsibilities of a Community College Administrator.” Additionally, participants will be provided with contact information to connect with the presenters (deans, department chairpersons, human resources representatives, as well as City of Compton and Compton Unified School District representatives).

“There are many full- and part-time positions currently open at the Compton Community College District and Compton College. Our goal is to recruit qualified candidates to work at our institution” said Andres Ramos, CCCD Board of Trustees president. “We are proud of the quality, credentials, and caliber of district employees. Attendees will also learn about additional job opportunities through our event partners, the City of Compton and Compton Unified School District.”

The Job Fair will include a presentation of current job opportunities at Compton College. Applications are currently being accepted for the following full-time positions:

Administration: Associate Dean of Nursing, and Dean of Student Learning – Business and Industrial Studies

Faculty (tenure track): Anatomy/Physiology; Nursing; Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)

Classified Positions:  Accountant, Provisional/Temporary Account Clerk, Research Analyst, and Provisional/Temporary Utility Maintenance Worker

Part-time opportunities include:

Faculty: Biotechnology,Art, Cosmetology, Ethnic Studies, Fire and Emergency Technology, Automotive Technology, Spanish, Women’s Studies, Economics, Emergency Technician, History, Business, Physics, and more!
