Jody Watley makes surprise appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show

Jody Watley, the legendary Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer made a surprise guest appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show April 25.

Watley, who is known for her pioneering contributions to R&B and pop music, joins Hudson on the show to talk about The Jody Watley Show airing on SiriusXM – The Groove, Channel 50 and being a trendsetting icon in music, video, fashion, and style.

“Being a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show was an absolute blast,” said Jody Watley, who added, “I’ve been a fan of Jennifer’s for years.”

Watley has been a major force in the music industry for over four decades, earning critical acclaim and commercial success with her solo work as well as her collaborations with other artists. Her hits include “Looking for a New Love,” “Real Love,” and “Friends,” and she has worked with everyone from George Michael, rap legend Rakim, and Babyface.

The beautiful music icon also shared her famous quotes during the interview, “Always evolve and always keep moving forward. Don’t get bogged down by your past or your mistakes. Use them as lessons and keep growing.”
