Multiple Injuries Reported in Crash on 110 Freeway in Carson

CARSON – A multiple-vehicle crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Carson sent people to hospitals Tuesday morning and shut down southbound lanes for nearly an hour.

The crash was reported at 12:28 a.m. on the southbound Harbor Freeway at 223rd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses reported to the CHP that up to six vehicles were involved in the crash.

Video from the scene showed one sedan rolled over and was mangled and showed firefighters preparing at least three patients for transport to hospitals.

All southbound lanes were shut down at 12:50 a.m. with traffic diverted off the freeway at 223rd Street. The two right lanes were reopened at 1:22 a.m. The remaining two lanes were reopened at 1:57 a.m.
