VAN NUYS – A man and two teenagers were arrested for allegedly robbing a man at what was supposed to be the sale of an expensive wristwatch at his Van Nuys home, authorities said Saturday. PLAYA DEL REY – Firefighters Saturday discovered the lifeless body of a man inside a burning motorhome parked on the shoulder of a road in Playa del Rey. Firefighters dispatched at 11:23 a.m. to 13799 W. Jefferson Blvd. regarding a vehicle fire came upon a burning motorhome parked on the shoulder a couple blocks west of the San Diego (405) Freeway, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. VAN NUYS – A 35-year-old homeless man was wounded Saturday in what police say was a gang-related drive-by shooting near Van Nuys. Los Angeles Police officers were called at approximately 12:51 a.m. to 13136 Vanowen St. between Fulton and Coldwater Canyon avenues where they learned a dark sedan drove past the victim and shot at him multiple times, according to an LAPD spokeswoman. The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics in stable condition. The suspects drove away west on Vanowen. There was no further information available.

SANTA ANA – A 26-year-old felon pleaded guilty Friday and was immediately sentenced to 15 years in prison for shooting a friend when they got into a dispute while driving in Santa Ana. Christopher Samael Sandoval pleaded guilty to attempted murder, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon, all felonies.
