LOS ANGELES – A person who was killed in a fatal traffic collision involving a vehicle carrying three male occupants was identified Thursday.

The incident occurred Friday at 3:10 p.m. at 6340 West La Tuna Canyon Road in the Tujunga area.

The victim was identified as Ruben Manucharyan, 25, by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene of blunt traumatic injuries.

According to Brain Humphrey, a spokesman with the Los Angeles Fire Department, the other two men managed to exit the vehicle by themselves before fire officials arrived. The vehicle had partially crashed into a nearby aqueduct, which was largely dry, according to an LAFD tweet.

The men later accepted ambulance transport to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle was removed by the LAFD Heavy Rescue Unit.
