Sheriff Luna are there deputy gangs in the department or not

I must admit if you like political folly and satire you can’t beat the antics of the newly “selected” Sheriff Robert Luna who has within a few short months has already acquiesced his day-to-day duties as Sheriff to Eileen Decker a “highly” respected attorney who will serve as the guiding light so to speak in righting everything that is chronically wrong with LASD.

But based on Ms. Decker’s time on the LAPD commission and her tenure as vice-president justifies in theory and practicality handing over the day-to-day operations to someone with an impressive resume but there’s a lot to be desired as we can all agree that LAPD and it’s history of violating the rights of the average citizen continues to hunt the LAPD to this day which should automatically call to question her qualifications to lead the largest law enforcement agency in the country.

Come on we both saw the same dog and pony show at Luna’s Feb. 15 press conference and one thing that was obviously clear was that the media is beginning to question, with serious doubt, the validity of these so-called “deputy gangs” and this phantom list that award-winning journalist Cerise Castle supposedly has in her possession that gave credibility to this narrative that former Sheriff Villanueva was this rogue Sheriff and a menace to Los Angeles County and it’s safety as a whole

it’s far beyond time that Sheriff Luna, Inspector Max Huntsman, and the Board of Supervisors put up or shut up on these deputy gangs because only one option exists here. They must identify these rogue deputies and allow them due process and if during the course of a just and fair process, it is found that certain officers are actually engaging in criminal activity as part of a clique or so-called deputy gang within LASD then they should be fired and criminally prosecuted immediately because to continue to allow these so-called rogue officers to serve not only continues to cause a cancer within the department but further subjects LASD to supervision under federal consent decrees and a further deteriorating trust between the community and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

With that being said I wish all I mentioned above was just as easy but I’m willing to go out on a limb and say that this so-called “list” of deputy gangs doesn’t exist because if it did wouldn’t it have been a perfect time for the Inspector General Max Huntsman who was notably absent at Luna’s press conference to show his hand because it was Huntsman who hounded the former Sheriff and insisted that the proof existed and when pressed on this information Feb. 15 it appeared that their sole purpose of the press conference was to present Eileen Decker as the band-aid so to speak to appease the federal monitors to enforce the consent decrees and to exert external control of the LASD Sheriff’s Department by extension of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

In essence, what we saw in Luna’s acquiescing control of LASD and it’s day-to-day operations as a result of the deal he made with the “devil” also known as the woke left because despite Luna’s own words and even the things unsaid that should give not only the residents a pause of concern but the media and journalists alike.

I’m sorry but we can’t afford to get this wrong and Luna’s press conference left me with one obvious question. Do deputy gangs exist within LASD or not because Luna has been given multiple opportunities to present his case and every time he promises to “deliver the goods” so to speak were all left feeling played and disappointed like an M Night Shyamalan movie.
