The political musical chair games continue as termed-out Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer has announced his intention to run for Los Angeles City Council District 10.
I know what it's like to struggle.

Growing up, I experienced poverty.
Saw inequality & injustice firsthand.
That's why I went into public service.
I’m running for City Council to end City Hall’s corruption & restore trust with the people.
Because the people deserve better. pic.twitter.com/q3QeawEqhQ
Are these people not capable of simply getting a real job or going away altogether?
This is what “Tio Reggie” was up to when he was protesting in Huntington Park wearing a tie, blazer, and hard bottom shoes.
When you’re “camera ready” for a protest that smells trouble and in this case he’s using a man’s death for attention.
It’s widely known he has homes in both Council Districts 9 and 10 so will he also be visited by the same folks who knocked on former Sen. Rod Wright’s door?
The seat was held by Mark Ridley-Thomas but due to a 21-count indictment and a hot court date on March 7, his seat is now occupied by Heather Hutt.
Speculation continues to mount that Asm. Isaac Bryan will be announcing his run for the seat too.
