NORTHRIDGE – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision during a police pursuit that ended in Northridge with one suspect in the crash at large, authorities said Thursday,
Los Angeles Police Department officers were chasing armed robbery suspects in a dark colored SUV just before 1 a.m. after they attempted to make a traffic stop when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a black sedan at Roscoe Boulevard and Lindley Avenue, Fox 11 reported.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the SUV ran away from the scene and were pursued on foot by officers. Police set up a perimeter and later captured one of the suspects.
