A vast city with endless things to do, but which ones should you choose? Learn about five hidden gems in Los Angeles you need to visit on your trip.

The average recommended travel spots in LA are wild with tourists. Do you need some ideas that are a little less popular but equally as amazing? Continue reading about five hidden gems in Los Angeles you need to visit.

The Urban Light at LACMA

At the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, you’ll find Urban Light, a gorgeous sight of over 100 cast iron street lamps that date back to the 1920s and 1930s. When you visit this piece of art at night, you can witness the lamps illuminating the city.

Admission costs $25 per entry for non-residents and $20 for LA County residents. But don’t only visit the LACMA for just Urban Light, as numerous other exhibits will surely impress you!

Valley Relics Museum

Do you want to get a close-up view of classic neon signs and classic cars like never before? Nestled in the San Fernando Valley, Valley Relics Museum highlights vintage items of the past and puts them on display for visitors to experience.

Visit this amazing museum on Saturday or Sunday for a general admission fee of only $15 for adults—and free tickets for children under 10!

The Velaslavasay Panorama

This is an unusual hidden gem of Los Angeles that you need to visit on your trip! The old exterior building is only a glimpse of the sights you’ll see inside.

While the building originally acted as a movie theater, it’s now known for so much more! The Velaslavasay Panorama showcases detailed panoramic artwork. On the backside of the building, you’ll find an outdoor garden with carnivorous plants and gorgeous gazebos.

Wayfarers Chapel

Visiting Wayfarers Chapel is truly a serene experience that you can only find in Rancho Palos Verdes. The Wayfarers Chapel takes you away from the busy city to provide a scenic view of the city. Stepping inside the chapel makes you feel like you’re standing amid nature. People visit this sacred place to find peace and tranquility.

Nanbankan Restaurant

An amazing dinner is just what you all need after all the sightseeing in Los Angeles. Nanbankan isn’t the restaurant most people plan to visit when visiting LA, but it’s a marvelous yakitori bar that serves impeccable Japanese cuisine. When you’re searching to expand your horizons on your trip, keep this restaurant in mind, often famed for its skewers and black cod.

There are more hidden gems that you haven’t found yet. Consider booking a private tour in Los Angeles to find more underground LA spots that experienced guides can help you find. These tour professionals will help you create unforgettable memories in the big city.
